Shady Rest Policy and Reservations
Here at The Carbon Country's Shady Rest, we are pretty laid back as far as rules and policies but there are a few things we think are important in maintaining good customer relations.
Check in/out Time: Check in time is 3-6 PM; check out time is 11 AM. Please note that we do not have a 24 hour front desk. Should you require early or late check in, please contact us by two business days in advance for check in arrangements.
Deposit: A credit card (Visa or Master Card)is required as a deposit to confirm your reservation.
Cancellation Policy: Should you find you must cancel, there would be no charge up to seven days in advance of your reservation date. Additionally, if you cancel less then 7 days of your arrival date, full charges would apply unless we are able to rebook the room(s). Cancellation policy varies based on date of your reservation, should your stay fall on high demand dates.
Smoking: The Carbon Country’s Shady Rest is a non-smoking inn. Pierce County Health Dept. regulations prohibit smoking in public facilities and within 25' of the entrance(s), exit(s),or window(s) that open at a public facility. A picnic table outside is available with umbrella to accommodate our smokers.
Use of kitchen facilities: Pierce County Health Regulations prohibit anyone
using the kitchen facilities without having a current food handlers permit.
Gift certificates: Gift certificates are available for purchase; please see your hostess.
Children and Pets:Children over twelve are welcome. Sorry, we cannot accommodate pets, except, of course,unless you plan to board
your horse.
